Depression

Depressed moods, which everyone is familiar with, usually dissipate as soon as the triggering events are processed.

Depression, however, is characterized by long-lasting tormenting inner emptiness, lack of hope, lethargy as well as fear and can occur only once or in phases. The effects can be sleep disorders, isolation, loss of appetite and even physical symptoms such as stomach problems, headaches and many others.

The goal in the treatment of depression is to gain more confidence, assurance, energy and zest for life.
